We’re looking for a Procurement & Support Specialist to support our GTM organization. This position will serve as the main point of contact for procuring all goods or services of our GTM teams. The role will fulfill purchase requests and manage relationships & approval workflows between business stakeholders, vendors, and our finance team. This role will be responsible for the timely execution of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and help the GTM (Sales & Services) navigate the purchasing process. Additionally, this position will ensure the GTM organization is adhering to compliance policies and will
manage administrative GTM topics.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage GTM’s end-to-end Procurement process from request intake, to creation and approval workflow of purchase Requisitions (PRs), to Purchase Orders (POs), to Goods Receipts (GRs).
- Serve as the primary point of contact and facilitate relationships between GTM stakeholders and outside teams, including global Siemens Procurement, Finance, Legal, and vendors.
- Document and monitor upcoming renewals, ongoing vendor costs.
- Master multiple systems to manage Procurement workflow, including SAP, EZSuite, and internal vendor portal.
- Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Report on Spend versus Budget, act as point of contact with Finance Business Partners to assist with due diligence.
- Ensure Expert Services adherence to the PATAC, a compliance process to identify tax implications and risks from cross-border activities.
- Manage other administrative topics for GTM and GTM Finance teams.
- Maintain effective working relationships with persons at all levels within the company including vendors, customers, employees, legal, consultants, etc.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel) and ERP software (SAP).
- 1+ year experience working in an administrative or procurement role.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Have a solutions-oriented approach to obstacles, respond well to changing needs, and like to multi-task.
- Ability and desire to work under pressure and manage tight timelines across time zones.
- Are willing to roll up sleeves and help wherever necessary.
