DIRECTOR – SOLUTIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

* Understand, learn and become a subject matter on the business, quickly

o Be able present a 95% success rate in resolution of questions, requests inquiries, as applicable to Solutions.

* Clearly articulate the value of Marketplace and Solutions to growers and Trusted Advisors

o Identify Marketplace Demand opportunities

o Determine how to partner with Trusted Advisor team to help drive acceptance of Indigo value prop

* Build trusting relationships across organization, specifically with Growers and Account Managers

o Be a liaison between the field and hedging team and be able to provide feedback

* Provide constructive views on ways to improve the Indigo offers, specifically with value proposition to Trusted Advisor channels

* Raise the collective effectiveness of commercial teams through coaching and training

o Be seen as a value-added support component for sales team

o Develop feedback Indigo commercial team leads on sales coaching

o Lead grower and Indigo employee training and presentations

Competencies:

* Highly personable and open minded when discussing marketing practices

* Change Agent

* Ability to clearly communicate technical aspects of Indigo’s value propositions and platforms *

o Able to succinctly define value proposition and deliver clear message to customer

* Attention to detail and strong follow up

* Advanced sales and relationship building and management skills

* Advanced sales coaching skills

* Ability to present effectively to a group and teach on complex subjects

* Excellent listener with ability to resolve complaints

* Strong degree of accountability

* Strong prioritization skills; self-starter

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience required

* Experience in or knowledge of trading

* Experience with business development in a service-oriented role

* Experience with production agriculture

* Experience with ag supply chain from inputs through processing

* 15+ years of Ag-related experience

* Ability to travel as needed, ~60%

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
