The Commercial Engagement Manager plays a key role within the Fuze Professional Services team by helping to ensure predictable and successful service activations for new customers of Fuze. Working as an extension of the North American Sales Team, the Commercial Engagement Manager will partner with the Commercial Sales Representatives to provide insight and support on new opportunities with regards to the Fuze Professional Services capabilities, methodologies, best practices and processes. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that Fuze understands the Customer’s specific design requirements and be able to create high quality tailored Statements of Work focused on our Customer’s deployment, onboarding and long term success.

Ideal candidates will be great presenters who are able to differentiate Fuze Professional Services value and also have an understanding of services delivery with a focus on quality along with Customer Success. UCaaS services experience is a plus but not required. In addition, candidates should understand how bookings translate into revenue throughout the complete sales through delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities:

  • Deal Quality and Revenue Activation Realization
    • Highlight non-standard customer requirements and manage appropriate handling within Fuze teams
    • Validate that proposed services are viable for successful service activation
    • Understand existing and future product capabilities and apply knowledge to proposed services
    • Own the pre-sales Design review process and collaborate with reviewers to deliver a customer sponsored Migration Plan
  • Professional Services Champion Building
    • Build and maintain relationships with other internal departments and leverage those relationships to ensure product/services/customer success
    • Act as a bridge between Sales and Professional Services and facilitate understanding of mutual processes
    • Participate in internal and external Sales meetings and deliver presentations to sell the value of Fuze Professional Services
    • Educate customers and internal clients on the Professional Services Methodology and Process
    • Support, validate and assist in the creation of Statements of Work and Migration Plans that accurately reflect all relevant details for customers’ service migration to Fuze platform
    • Work with customers to understand, document and analyze their project requirements
    • Assist customers in identifying and obtaining commitment for deployment plans for service activation
    • Understand Fuze partner relationships in order to facilitate effective engagement on end-user opportunities
  • Operational Responsibilities
    • Responsible for meeting quarterly Professional Services bookings targets
    • Track deals in SFDC and ensure booking packages contain Statements of Work and Migration Plans for Professional Services to execute against.
    • Accurately forecast revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
    • Notify Program Management team of impending deal closures and inform them of special customer requirements regarding functionality, timeline constraints, etc.
    • Coordinate transition of new customer deals between Sales and Professional Services

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in Enterprise Services Sales or Pre-sales for large telco or SaaS companies
  • Must be willing to travel 20% of the time
  • Must exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude and enjoy working with clients and various teams internally
  • Background in Enterprise Professional Services Sales and/or Delivery
  • Experience with VoIP technology and terminology strongly preferred
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills and risk awareness
  • Driven and dedicated to success
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
