Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an Associate Director, Site Merchandising to join our team based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have retail and/or e-commerce experience managing product discovery and presentation. They will be a data-driven leader, who is comfortable working and influencing cross-functionally. The business is growing quickly, so this leader will have a clear point of view, but be flexible enough to pivot quickly based on shifting landscape and business demands.

What You'll Do:

• Create a “best-in-class” shopping experience for our fast growing Healthcare Vertical
• Direct a team as they execute category specific site merchandising optimizations, determining the attribute structure, navigation pathways and landing experiences to best drive product discovery and presentation
• Build business cases to support product resourcing requests for high value website functionality
• Utilize web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements and optimize site merchandising tools to drive category traffic and increase conversion
• Build and lead a team of site merchandising analysts (likely two headcount)

What You'll Need:

• College degree in business-related field
• 10+ years work experience, with 2+ years in ecommerce
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
• Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
• Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs
• Position will require travel regular travel (1-2x per month) 

Bonus:

• MBA
• Experience in e-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
• Familiarity with SQL
