The Operations Technician supports marine systems and warehouse management through installations, troubleshooting, inventory control, and shipping coordination. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, organizing the warehouse, and ensuring timely shipments.
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations Technician to support our Operations Team. This full-time role focuses on technical support for our test vessels & marine systems, warehouse management, shipping, inventory control. You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient operations, timely shipments, and assisting with installation, configuration, and maintenance of marine electronics and vessel systems.

- Support installation and configuration of marine electronics as needed.
- Troubleshoot and support resolution of mechanical, electrical, and networking issues.
- Perform modifications, maintenance, and minor wiring on Sea Machines test vessels and related systems.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean shop and warehouse environment.
- Serve as the point of contact for all activities at the warehouse location, coordinating with internal teams.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect deliveries for accurate, and organize items appropriately.
- Perform regular inventory checks, assist with stock replenishment, and manage field tools and consumable materials.
- Prepare items for shipment according to packing and shipping guidelines.
- Configure and program systems as needed prior to packaging products for shipment.
- Document and label product revision and serial numbers before shipping.
- Assist with documenting and updating inventory records for both production and field material.
- Potential short term domestic travel assignments.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, connectors, and cable routing is preferred.
- Experience in working in a warehouse, logistics, or operations environments.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks on docks and boats.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Proficient in using computers and inventory management systems.
- Experience in marine electronics, industrial automation, or related industries is a plus.
