Job Description SummaryThe Operation Quality Manager is responsible for driving quality operational tasks, strong need to engage with peers and stakeholders. Strong knowledge and hands-on work-experience on GE Vernova tools and processes is required to achieve desired outcomes, including ability to develop, implement and drive functional processes and tools.
The Leader is responsible for operationalizing the global steam power strategy partnering with all functions across the organization. In addition, the leader will provide expertise by implementing key quality initiatives focused on improving Customer Satisfaction and reducing Escaping Defects, Severe Events and Cost of Poor Quality.

Job Description

What you’ll do (Roles and Responsibilities):

  • Create and lead the Quality operations within the GE Steam Power Quality organization.

  • Create, and circulate monthly MOR Pre-reads for senior leadership meetings.

  • Maintain, create and update relevant dashboards in quality organization with monthly track and trends and modifications.

  • Maintain, organize and coordinate for Quality Leadership Daily Management calls and updating dashboard.

  • Analyze and assess gaps in monthly KPI’s and work with team to develop improvement plans and execute effectively.

  • Support key initiatives as defined by GE Steam Power Quality Leadership.

  • Deliver process improvements that improve customer outcomes, KPI’s and leadership behaviors.

  • Support project management, planning, and operational rhythm deliverables including frequent communication and presentations to business leadership and stakeholders.

  • Should be able to manage Ad-hoc data analysis request by senior leadership.

  • Should be able to prioritize tasks efficiently, handling multiple projects at the same time.

  • Travel: Less than 15% as needed in support of the above responsibilities

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain.

  • Experience: Advanced experience with Quality, Operations or Project Management

  • Personality: Pro-active, motivated and autonomous worker

  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Travel: Able to travel up to 15%

  • Practitioner and/or expert of Lean / continuous improvement / operational excellence practices

  • Business knowledge in at least one of the GE Vernova businesses

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Ability to think analytically and be an excellent problem solver

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with global cross functional teams

  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally

Additonal notes:

  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.

  • The position offers flexibility to work either in a hybrid setup or fully remotely.
