The Operations Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all Operations activities on a program. This includes flowing program requirements down from the product line and program manager to all of the Operations functions. The Ops functions primarily include Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and Supplier Partnerships. Supplier Partnerships consists of factory planning, program planning, procurement, and subcontract management. In addition to supporting program execution, OPM's are required to support non-recurring engineering program phases, including driving early involvement in development and transition to production programs of the various Ops functions. It will also include involvement in proposal activities for both material and Operations labor estimates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management of continuous improvement program
- Cost Account Manager responsible for cost and schedule of all operations labor and material
- Ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements
- Ensure all deliverables are delivered to the customer according to the manufacturing schedule
- Promotes a strong sense of teamwork among personnel supporting various phases of the program efforts
- Develop, Execute and Monitor plans that support the Business Operating Plan
- Ensure Manufacturing execution is aligned with Program and Customer demand / requirements
- Work with production team on any capability transitions to Sustainment
- Work with Factory supports to resolve issues that require Supplier or Program or Customer action
- Be the Operations Leader for Customer / Program requirements such as (Repair Turn Around Time and EW Availability)
- Support factory compliance requirements and activities
- Support programs across several geographic locations with occasional travel to support programs.
- Needs to identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks to program execution
- Must have a current/active Secret Clearance or ability to attain one
AUTHORITY:
- Provide work direction for Operations personnel
- Cost Account Manager authority for Operations and for Program staff level.
- Signature authority for all Operations Plans (material, manufacturing, manpower, lean, capital, facilities).
- Signature authority for all Operations Program Task Descriptions (PTDs) flowed to Focus Factory management.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Initially, this role will serve to support several program efforts. You will be working along other senior OPM's that will be providing additional support when required, and other specific duties as assigned. This role is intended to develop the skills necessary to assume higher levels of Operations and Program responsibilities by supporting various assignments assigned by Operations / Program Leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have project management skills (or manufacturing / supply chain skills) as well as knowledge of the Operations functions.
- Basic skills in: data analysis, leading several small teams, effective communications, proposals, spreadsheet creation and management, as well as some basic finance process comprehension.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in management, supply chain management, and/or factory management is a plus.
- Analytical skills and the ability to work independently to develop Leadership presentations for the Operations and Program function.
- Previous Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and/or experience with AS9145/APQP .
- PMP certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
