We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our new Specialty Care team. This team is responsible for building out new programs to support our highest acuity members. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Operations Manager with strong project management skills and an analytical mindset to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives creating organization out of ambiguity, has a bias for action, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to work across departments and tackle challenges head-on. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, solve complex operational problems, and drive business-critical initiatives. You’ll report into the Director of Operations, Specialty Care. 

What you’ll be doing: 

Program Growth & Management

  • Lead cross-functional coordination and program management to ensure seamless execution of complex initiatives, driving alignment and meeting both internal and external deadlines
  • Project manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and moving parts, ensuring clear timelines, accountability, and measurable outcomes
  • Drive innovative solutions to expand Specialty Care services, partnering with Product, Clinical, Data and other teams to drive new opportunities for program growth
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to ensure the success of the Specialty Care programs

Operational Improvements

  • Spearhead and drive significant cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve Specialty Care processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, acting as a key partner for Product, Design, Marketing and more to inform solutions that will increase operational efficiency and support program growth
  • Dive into the details to resolve operational issues and create scalable solutions to resolve
  • Partner with technical and data teams to scope and implement tools and build dashboards to drive programmatic decisions

Program Ownership

  • Assist in developing and proactively measure progress on key program KPIs, ensuring cross-functional targets are hit
  • Become an expert on our Specialty Care programs, capabilities, and processes  

What success looks like in this role:

  • Lead new initiatives for the development and growth of Specialty Care
  • Drive operational efficiency and improvements, enabling our teams to support our members with high quality care, efficiently 

What we expect from you:

  • 4+ years of experience in operations roles, consulting, business analysis or program management, with at least 2+ years in a startup environment
  • 2+ years of experience working in healthcare, with experience in payor operations or other related functions (e.g. claims processes, billing, etc)
  • You are highly organized and have strong project management skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience working with data (spreadsheets, SQL, Looker, etc)
  • You are highly organized with attention to detail and bring a structured approach to work
  • You are comfortable with navigating complex problems and ambiguous tasks
  • You are proactive and have a high degree of ownership
  • You have strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to simplify and distill complex topics for a variety of audiences

The target base salary range for this position is $97,325 - $114,500, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
