The Role
In the role of Operations Manager at Fidelity Investments in Boston, MA, you will manage a dynamic team and ensure outstanding experiences at our Signature Venue spaces. You will prioritize and staff event bookings while aligning operations with organizational expectations. This position offers autonomy and the ability to make strategic decisions that drive success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading and developing the Signature Venues operations team, encouraging a positive and supportive culture
Ensuring high-quality meeting and event experiences, focusing on critical Signature Venue activities
Supporting Operations Coordinators & Associates with feedback and mentorship for an outstanding guest experience
Prioritizing venue operations issues and driving solutions to ensure smooth operations
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field. You should have 1-2 years of proven experience overseeing staff and 2-4 years in hospitality, hotel management, or event coordination. You excel at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills to work well with diverse collaborators. Clear and effective communication is essential, as is the ability to lead teams and operate event management software. Your ability to take initiative and make well-considered decisions will contribute to your success.

The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
