Job Summary
As part of a Continuous Improvement culture, the right candidate will be responsible for the support and tactical execution of improvements related to the ZOLL Medical Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and related systems and processes. Reporting to the Operations IT Manager, they will also have a supporting role in other software and processes that are related to MES. There are also plenty of growth opportunities as the person in this role may be asked to help on project teams or with various other improvement or customization projects as a member of the project team or as a leader.
Essential Functions
- Develops and maintain workflows, functional data, and structures within the Siemens MES (Camstar)
- Work closely with Quality and Compliance to establish processes and procedures that adhere to strict regulatory standards
- Interface with Manufacturing Engineers to review and design effective workflows based on their requirements
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures essential to the electronic side of the manufacturing process
- Implement changes to MES related to Engineering Change Orders and Process Deviations (PDA)
- Maintain and Support the MES Software
- Maintain and Support Microsoft Windows Server based servers
- Support automation and custom software projects
- Point of contact to support and assist Shop Floor as necessary
- Assist with or lead the Validation of software and systems to meet IT and regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute regulatory (GxP) documentation (VP, SRS, IQ, OQ, PO, RA, TM, SOP, etc)
- Perform SQL queries to diagnose issues or pull AdHoc data as required
- Generate reports on SSRS and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) to support ever changing data consumption and evolving requirements
- Handle incoming support Tickets in Service Now
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree required
- Experience Configuring and Maintaining Manufacturing Systems (5yrs+) preferred
- Experience with SQL Server (3yr) preferred
- Experience administering Windows Servers (3yr) preferred
- ISO, Lean, Six-Sigma, Siemens, or Microsoft related Certifications are helpful preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong proficiency with configuring and understanding Siemens MES (OpCenter / Camstar) very strongly preferred as configuring Workflows and defining Business Rules will be a large portion of your day
- Excellent Soft Skills and a Servant-Leader mindset
- Familiarity with SQL Server database management and SSRS
- Project management experience demonstrating the ability to meet schedule and cost targets.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, product structure, BOMs, MRP systems, ISO13485, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with FDA QSR documentation requirements
- Preference to be flexible with hours as you will be helping to support a Manufacturing environment that runs 24/7
- Ability to be flexible when necessary, pivot without nostalgia
- Understanding the fundamental purpose of where Manufacturing sits within the business as a whole and being able to explain how the function interacts with other areas of the business is a big plus
- Familiarity with APIs (REST, gRPC, SOAP, etc)
- Experience with source code management (DevOps, CI/CD, SCM, Git)

The hourly pay rate for this position is:
