Job Summary & Responsibilities

Position involves processing daily orders making sure they meet all required deadlines. Strong organizational and multitasking skills needed, have some computer skills and be able to communicate clearly and accurately with the Telecenter. May be required to route deliveries to drivers when the dispatcher is not available as well as communicate with them throughout the day when orders cannot be delivered or get cancelled.

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have Excel and Microsoft Word computer experience.
  • Capable of working under pressure and have good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work longer hours during Holidays.
  • Must be able to work on weekends.
  • Required to complete some reports for the Manager.
  • Assist with the counting of Inventory and dispatching of drivers when necessary
  • Overseeing the Operations area to make sure all orders are processed correctly in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Need a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English and floral/florist experience are a plus but not a necessity.
  • Should be detail oriented, have good Math skills and be able to give and receive directions to get the job completed.
  • Should have some Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
  • Candidate must be agile enough to work in our fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must have the ability to work in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time as well as work on one’s feet for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift 50lbs when necessary.
  • Candidate must always wear closed toe/rubber soled footwear and must be able to help in other departments if needed.
  • Candidate must be able to receive and inspect deliveries from vendors when needed.
