Operational Insights AnalystJob DescriptionRole Summary
The Operational Insights Analyst will play a critical role in supporting executive decision‑making by analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and highlighting opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement. This role partners closely with senior leaders to translate data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large volumes of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop insights that highlight inefficiencies, bottlenecks, process gaps, and cost‑saving opportunities.
Conduct root‑cause analysis to support issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Operational Performance & Efficiency
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments and business units.
Partner with process owners to measure operational performance and recommend improvements.
Identify areas where automation, process redesign, or technology enhancements could drive efficiency.
Executive Support
Prepare concise, insight‑driven summaries, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Support the Chief [Transformation/Operations/Strategy] Officer in evaluating initiatives and prioritizing opportunities.
Translate data insights into business implications and strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, finance, IT, and business unit leaders to gather data and validate findings.
Participate in cross‑functional working groups to support process improvement initiatives.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity of data used in executive reporting.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Operations Management, or related field.
2–4+ years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Ability to translate complex data sets into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in creating executive‑ready reports and presentations.
Preferred
Experience working in a corporate operations, strategy, or PMO environment.
Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, workflow tools).

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $94,280.13 USD to $127,555.47 USDFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
