About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Operational Improvement Program Manager - GenAI to lead enterprise-wide and department specific intitiatives focused on driving greatly improved operational efficiency and overall improved operational performance. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will lead a highly visible enterprise effort to work cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, implement innovative solutions —with a focus on leveraging technology including a specific spike on leveraging Generative AI (GenAI)—and foster a culture of continuous improvement. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a skilled change agent, and a collaborative leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to transform operations with a meniacle focus on improved outcomes.  

You Will: 

Strategy & Governance 

  • Develop and execute a multi-year operational efficiency strategy aligned with Abacus Insights' growth and margin objectives. 
  • Establish governance for intake, prioritization, and execution of efficiency and automation initiatives. 
  • Drive high-level business case development to justify investments with clear ROI articulation 
  • Define standards for process mapping, value modeling, and benefits realization. 
  • Set near-term goals, in partnership with functional leads, and create actionable plans to realize targeted efficiency improvements over near-term time horizons. 

Technology & GenAI Automation Enablement 

  • Lead the identification technology-drive, including GenAI, automation solutions across business functions. 
  • Partner closely with functional leaders to deploy solutions at enterprise scale. 
  • Partner with Information Security and Engineering to implement custom and off-the-shelf tools. 
  • Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable, with robust monitoring and telemetry, including utilization of tools.  

Change Management & Adoption 

  • Drive structured change management programs to ensure adoption of new tools and processes. 
  • Serve as the visible advocate for change, communicating progress and success stories across the organization. 

Community of Practice & Knowledge Management 

  • Launch and lead an Operational Efficiency Community of Practice to share best practices and reusable assets. 
  • Build and maintain a knowledge repository of playbooks, templates, and case studies. 

Measurement & Impact 

  • Define and maintain an impact scorecard to track efficiency gains and adoption metrics; monitor impact vs. business cases / estimated impact.  
  • Partner with Finance to validate benefits and translate them into margin improvement. 
  • Report progress to the COO and executive leadership team on a regular cadence. 

What We're Looking For: 

  • 5+ years in operations, process improvement, or technology-enabled transformation. 
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable operational improvements and cost savings. 
  • Deep hands-on experience with automation and GenAI technologies at production with quantified impacts. 
  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making. 
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional indirect management skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop business cases with quantified ROI  
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. 
  • "Roll up your sleeves mentality" working side-by-side with your team.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in healthcare technology or payer/provider ecosystems. 
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
