Cooling performance limits high-power computing, semi-conductor fab, cell networks, photonics, power electronics, and most of our digital world. Alloy Enterprises enables customers to break through these constraints with novel complex metal components that dramatically improve heat dissipation in high-performance systems. Alloy’s patented Stack Forging™ process enables complex micro-geometries, resulting in single-piece, leak-tight parts that deliver superior cooling performance, lower pressure drops, and exceptional reliability. Founded in 2020, Alloy is a 45-person hardtech startup that has raised over $50M in capital and is shipping components to customers manufacturing servers, lasers, semiconductor equipment, and defense systems.

This role generally requires 5 days onsite per week.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our fast-moving team. In this role, you’ll be at the center of our day-to-day operations — receiving parts, packing and shipping orders, managing inventory, and serving as a local courier to deliver and pick up parts from nearby suppliers and vendors. You’ll also roll up your sleeves on the production floor as needed, contributing directly to the work that gets our parts out the door. This position reports directly to the Director of Part Production and plays a key role in helping our production efforts run smoothly and efficiently. If you're someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced environment and likes being part of a growing, mission-driven company, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and inspect for accuracy and quality

  • Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders to customers and suppliers

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and recordkeeping

  • Deliver and pick up parts locally from vendors and manufacturing partners

  • Keep the stockroom organized and maintain clear part labeling and storage

  • Stage and move materials for production and engineering use

  • Support basic production tasks on the shop floor as needed

  • Use inventory and shipping software to log activities and update records

  • Identify and suggest improvements to shipping, inventory, or logistics processes

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations

  • Valid driver’s license and comfort with local driving for pickups and drop-offs

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to ~50 lbs safely)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • A self-starter attitude with flexibility to take on varied tasks in a startup setting

  • Familiarity with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, inventory systems)

  • Willingness to contribute to production work when needed — no task too small

  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus, but not required

Additional requirements

This position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).  Please note that any offer for employment will be conditioned on authorization to receive controlled items without sponsorship for an export license.

Regarding Sponsorship

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa, including H-1B, H-1C, H-2A, H-2B, H-3, F-1 or OPT at this time.

Equal employment opportunity

We are committed to creating an equitable and inclusive environment for all our employees and seek to build a team that reflects the diversity of the people we hope to serve with our products. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
