What you will do
- Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, you will promote our Open Source Growth and Commercial Viability to help build technical credibility in the open source community and credibility within our sales organization by creating assets, educational content, and promoting strategic engagement around our cloud-native security products. You will work with the Sysdig open source team along with our product organization, sales teams, and other partners to support sales efforts, grow open-source adoption, and enhance our market presence. Focus on expanding engagement within OSS-adopting accounts, supporting targeted outreach, and partnering with sales to ensure the commercial success of these programs, including Falco, Stratoshark, Wireshark, and Threat Feeds—by developing strategies that convert OSS usage into commercial opportunities aligned with the Sysdig CNAPP portfolio.
- You will partner with sales to align GTM strategy, sales enablement and deliver training, support main deals, create RFP tools, and develop content that boosts engagement, aligns solutions to customer needs, and guides OSS revenue growth.
- You will boost Sysdig Evangelism and Market Presence through media (online/offline), expertise, and events while aligning with execs on main opportunities and supporting the open-source community through content contributions.
- You will develop technical content and education, such as on-demand demos and technical assets to drive early-stage demand, support sales, and align enablement with GTM goals through programs like Kraken Discovery Labs.
- You will establish Performance Tracking and Reporting to track initiative success across publishing, engagement, and sales; report progress on main goals and adjust strategies to guide ongoing impact.
What you will bring with you
- 10+ years of technical sales, marketing, evangelism, product, solutioning experience in infrastructure and enterprise software with a focus on security tools.
- Experience with container ecosystem and microservices.
- Experience working with customers, prospects, and Open Source communities. Working directly with end users and driving adoption of complex technical solutions.
- Technical proficiency in containers, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, Linux, Falco and related areas. Industry security certifications (e.g., CISSP) encouraged.
- Experience creating content and presenting to open source communities.

The U.S. annual compensation range for this full-time position is between $186,300 and 256,190 USD/year. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
