Job Description SummaryThe Investigations Manager – Rest of World is responsible for managing a team of global investigators who lead investigations into potential violations of law and GE Vernova policies and the Code of Conduct outside of the Americas region. As part of the Ethics & Compliance function within the Open Reporting team, this role will report to the Global Investigations Leader. This position plays a critical role in upholding GE Vernova’s commitment to integrity and compliance, by overseeing complex investigations, ensuring consistent and transparent processes, and driving fairness and accountability.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a global team of approximately six investigators. Provide performance feedback, professional development opportunities, and guidance on best practices for investigations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end investigation process, ensuring timely resolution, consistent quality, and compliance with internal KPIs and standards.
  • Lead complex, high-risk, or time-sensitive investigations, including interviewing concern raisers, witnesses, and subjects; gathering and analyzing evidence; and partnering with Compliance, Labor & Employment, and HR to determine findings and corrective actions.
  • Provide regular case updates to the team as well as business leaders and key stakeholders through template-based and data-driven reporting along with routine updates. Build and maintain strong relationships across functions, segments, and regions to support a culture of trust, transparency, and ethical behavior.
  • Partner with the Ombuds Leader and Segment Compliance Leaders to identify trends in cases, outcomes, root causes, etc. and ensure relevant business teams are informed, aligned and able to take appropriate and timely corrective action.
  • Support and deliver training to the investigations team on investigative techniques, compliance topics, and legal issues. Leverage both internal and external expertise.
  • Ensure all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, particularly those related to employee rights, labor laws, and privacy.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, legal, investigations or audit
  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting investigations
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential and challenging matters in a discreet and respectful manner

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience leading a team with demonstrable success in mentoring and developing talent while setting organizational priorities, standardized documented policies and procedures, and managing resources and budget.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with a variety of compliance issues and behavioral misconduct, such as - corruption/FCPA, conflict of interest, supplier related risks, competition, privacy, T&E fraud and respectful workplace behaviors
  • Ability to support/lead people who sit in multiple locations and are from multiple, diverse cultures
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle a large and varied caseload simultaneously, to multitask, to delegate, and to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to help optimize the organization and promote continuous improvement within a process
  • High capacity for cultural sensitivity to local customs and social norms, flexibility and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively with GE’s glpbal environment
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface with high-level business and operations leaders.
