Job Description SummaryAs an Advanced Product Specialist, Oncology you are responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for Oncology Care Pathway products, solutions, and services in an assigned territory, and/or in a list of named accounts individually or as part of a One GE Healthcare team. Oncology portfolio is comprised of imaging such as imaging, workflow solutions, digital solutions, etc. Act as the clinical/technical expert to establish and continuously develop the relationship with departmental and technical decision makers in their assigned accounts and where applicable work in conjunction with Oncology Care Area Leaders, Account Executives, Executive Strategic Client Directors, and Managers to gain access to C-Suite decision makers. This role will be supporting the Western region & Chicago.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Work with the assigned regional sales leaders and account teams to present clinical value proposition of GE Oncology Care Pathway Solutions to customers to support meeting to sales, orders, and margin targets.

  • Develop strong clinical relationships with regional customers.

  • Participate in national Oncology symposiums, training and trade shows facilitating clinical proof point development

  • Support the assigned regional sales team via clinical training & presentations. This training should empower Sales leaders to articulate Oncology concepts in compelling easily understood ways to support the clinical, economic and productivity-based value propositions.

  • Understand the clinical workflow of the customer both from radiation therapy, medical oncology, and overall oncology patient journey

  • Works with the implementation team and provides Pre Sales- and Post-Sales support.

  • Participate in product Pilot Site turnovers, insuring training on new development features as well as installation of effective protocols for utilization of those features.

  • Clinical Voice of Customer to New Product Introduction (NPI), Americas Commercial Marketing and Upstream Teams.

  • May need to support, educate, and maintain GE Oncology presence at all assigned Oncology Show Sites, Reference Sites and Luminaries

  • Healthcare product/industry acumen

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Ability to travel and willingness to work flexible hours

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 5 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field ( e.g. biomedical engineering, medical physics) or Life Sciences field.

  • Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry.

  • Ability to travel 50%+

  • Must be based in West Coast.

Desired Characteristics
  • Preferred location is near a major airport  (West US)

  • Familiar with GE CT Simulation platform or other CT Simulation platform.

  • Post graduate degree in physics or related technical/engineering disciplines

  • 5+ years of filed experience selling into oncology.

  • Strong ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solution-based sales approach

  • Excellent ability to develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.

  • Strong team player

  • Strong presentation skills with excellent ability to synthesize and explain complex issues

  • Experience in Radiation Therapy workflows (One or more modalities – Treatment planning systems, Oncology Information Systems, Treatment Delivery – LINAC, MR-LINAC etc.,)

  • Awareness with medical device edge computing and interconnectivity technologies including application layer protocols such as DICOM/DICOM-RT, IHE-RO, HL7 etc.,

  • Candidate should be comfortable working with key RT department stakeholders: Radiation Oncologists, Physicist, Dosimetrists.

  • Medical device sales experience preferred

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $128,000.00-$192,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
