Position Overview

The OnBase Engineer will play a crucial role in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the continuous advancement of the OnBase ECM solution within Zelis Price Optimization. This position requires a solid understanding of OnBase WorkView, Unity API, REST API. The ideal candidate will work within an Agile methodology, collaborating closely with business partners and the OnBase Scrum teams to enhance technologies and boost user adoption. This role demands strong design skills, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with business partners and the OnBase Scrum teams to enhance ECM technologies and boost user adoption.

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom OnBase Workflow and WorkView solutions, integrating with other IT systems via API.

  • Document, test, implement, and support WorkView applications.

  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to OnBase ECM software and infrastructure.

  • Analyze business requirements with partners and create functional specifications, including interface changes and process flows.

  • Plan, test, and implement software updates, defect fixes, and configuration changes.

  • Identify application development solutions with business partners and IT management, including new or modified programs, code rework, or integrated purchased solutions.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

Required Skills:

  • 4 - 8+ years of experience with OnBase software and solutions, specifically WorkView, & Unity API

  • Strong understanding of document management systems and workflows

Preferred Skills:

  • CSS, Visual Studio, SQL, JavaScript, C#/.NET, REST API, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree 

Preferred Certifications:

  • OnBase Administrator Professional or Expert certification

  • OnBase WorkView Administrator Professional or Expert certification

  • OnBase Workflow Administrator Professional or Expert certification

  • Hyland Developer Specialist certification

  • OnBase Support Specialist certification

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Healthcare 

  • Agile methodology

  • Atlassian tools

  • Snowflake Data Cloud

  • PowerBI

  • Bruno

  • Azure Cloud

  • LeanIX

  • Logic Monitor

Preferred Competencies:

  • Effective team and stakeholder communication
