Your Responsibilities
As an OFP Weld ME for JD Ottumwa Works located in Ottumwa , IA , you will:
  • Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
  • Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process

What Skills You Need
  • Background in Engineering (mechanical, weld, industrial)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities
  • Knowledge of engineering tools, systems and databases
  • Self motivator with the ability to execute a variety of tasks

What Makes You Standout
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
  • Experience in project management and business planning
  • Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
  • Experience in manufacutirng engineering supporting weld and assembly processes, quality, tooling, tool design, PLCs, robotic systems, facilities
  • Experience with robotic weld systems (Fanuc)

Education
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
