The Office Manager oversees office operations, hospitality, and logistics, ensuring a smooth work environment and managing vendor relationships while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient work environment.
- Manage office setup and upkeep for all spaces (common areas, conference rooms, kitchen).
- Coordinate vendor relationships (HVAC, janitorial, exterminator, etc.) and resolve facilities issues promptly.
- Hospitality & Workplace Experience
- Coordinate in-office catering, including set-up and clean-up.
- Keep our kitchen fully stocked with food, beverages, and supplies.
- Keep our office stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure meeting spaces are properly equipped (A/V, seating, materials).
- Greet and host external guests, clients, and partners
- Logistics & Administration
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries, including weekly Hungryroot box delivery.
- Respond to and fulfill day-to-day facilities requests from the team.
Requirements:
- Natural communicator with an interest in building community, and authentic relationships.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders and external partners while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Self-starter with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and change priorities at the drop of a hat.
- Desire to improve processes and find the best long-term solutions.
- Tech-savvy, particularly with Google work suite, Zoom, Slack, etc.
