Position Summary

SCS Financial is seeking to add a high-performing professional to its Office Administration team. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience managing a broad range of administrative support responsibilities who can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills when interacting with SCS clients and colleagues at all levels.

 This role is located in Boston, MA.


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Manage the front desk by answering and directing phone calls, greeting clients and visitors, and receiving deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support, including coordinating meetings, ordering meals for client and staff meetings, and preparing and resetting conference rooms.
  • Support client deliverables by assisting with the preparation, printing, and binding of presentations and coordinating outgoing client correspondence.
  • Coordinate employee travel arrangements (air, hotel, and ground transportation) and support expense report preparation and submission.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including copying, scanning, mailing, and filing.
  • Notarize and certify client and fund documents, as needed.
  • Provide rotating coverage and share responsibilities with the other support staff.
  • Complete additional ad hoc duties and projects. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative, office coordination, or client service role (internships and relevant part-time experience considered).
  • Strong scheduling and coordination skills, with the ability to manage calendars and organize meetings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); willingness to learn advanced features.
  • Experience assisting with travel arrangements and expense reports is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and follow instructions with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, service-oriented approach with strong communication skills, discretion, and a commitment to teamwork.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000–$90,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
