The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$107,000.00 - $182,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our Opportunity Summary:
- Support the NY1 Expansion Facilities team through the design, construction, commissioning, and sustaining operations of semiconductor wastewater treatment systems
- Provide engineering expertise for innovative process wastewater, reclaim systems, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) plants
- Partner with facilities operations, construction teams, and vendors to ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and within specification
What's Encouraged Daily:
- Provide engineering oversight for the design, construction, and commissioning of wastewater treatment systems
- Review vendor design documents, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and equipment submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Support field engineering activities including QA during construction and coordination of RFIs and change control
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and vendors to sustain system performance and reliability
- Monitor system performance using SPC, IoT, and SCADA data to drive efficiency and compliance improvements
- Support system modifications, upgrades, equipment installations, and commissioning activities
- Ensure adherence to Micron safety, environmental, and quality standards
How to Qualify:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant engineering or facilities experience
- Working knowledge of industrial or process wastewater treatment systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement efficiency or cost improvement initiatives
What Sets you Apart
- Master's degree in engineering and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- 3+ years of facilities or plant operations experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Experience with zero liquid discharge (ZLD) or advanced reclaim wastewater systems
- Strong collaboration, communication, and technical presentation skills
- Experience supporting capital projects, system commissioning, or large-scale infrastructure installs
