Job Summary:
As an Associate in the NA Global Rates Marketing Middle Office, You will perform all aspects of operational support for derivative trades executed by marketers. You will ensure that client trades are captured and processed timely, comply with trade processing controls and regulatory requirements, and act as a single point of contact for queries from marketers, clients, and internal teams. Your role will involve onboarding clients to preferred electronic matching utilities and participating in cross-business client service initiatives. You will leverage your product knowledge and system expertise to analyze complex operational issues and deliver fast, customized solutions. You will actively participate in technology enhancement programs that minimize operational burdens for salespeople and enable excellent operational experiences for JPM clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform operational support for derivative trades, including inception/execution, client setup, booking verification, client trade check out, MWIRE affirmation, confirmation review, and sales revenue reconciliation.
- Comply with all trade processing controls and regulatory requirements.
- Respond quickly to marketer or client requests and queries.
- Escalate problematic trades to Sales, Middle Office, and Operational Management as required.
- Act as a single point of contact for queries from marketers, clients, and internal teams, including Risk Middle Office, Reference Data Team, Confirmations, DTCC, Settlements, Valuations, Collateral, Legal, Credit, and Audit.
- Onboard clients to preferred electronic matching utility (MarkitWire).
- Drive Technological Enhancements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required with a strong GPA.
- Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in derivatives.
- Motivated, high-energy individual who works well under pressure and is resilient.
- Knowledge of Swaps, Options, Swaptions, Caps and Floors, and general knowledge of exotic derivative products.
- Knowledge of relevant Dodd-Frank Act & EMIR regulations.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
