We're looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Salesforce Nonprofit Solution Engineering team as a Solutions Senior Director. If you possess proven leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, great problem solving skills and an unwavering belief that the right technology can solve any problem then you are the ideal candidate for the job.
The Nonprofit Solutions Senior Director will work within the existing Nonprofit Solutions leadership team, reporting directly to the VP of Nonprofit Solution Engineering for America. The Solutions Senior Director will be actively involved in the go-to-market strategy of the AMER Nonprofit business unit, working with multiple business partners in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Alliances to strategize and solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required. This individual will be directly manage an existing team of Solution Engineer Architects, Specialists, and Strategists and will be responsible for allocating resources, performing employee reviews and evaluations, participating in strategic opportunities, driving relationships, and enabling team members to be successful in our markets. The Senior Director must be able to support the Solution Engineering team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to the Salesforce Nonprofit executive staff. This individual should also be able to communicate equally with internal resources and must have excellent strategic selling skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a team of Solution Leaders, Solution Engineers, and Solutions Specialists. Ensure we continue to hire and retain top talent in the market.
  • Create and manage key strategic programs to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the Nonprofit Solutions team
  • Partner strategically with Sales Leadership to drive scale, innovation, and exceptional business growth.
  • Own and drive the nonprofit solutions GTM strategy. Ensure we drive world class 1:1 and 1:M engagements with our nonprofit customers.
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships across key accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer
  • Work closely with the Sales, Product Marketing, Products, Customer Success, Event Marketing, Sales Programs and Alliance organizations to develop and execute growth plans to drive our strategic vision
  • Hire world class talent and manage performance to ensure career growth opportunities and effective succession planning
  • Embody Salesforce values and provide exemplary leadership
  • Leverage industry expertise to drive process improvements and innovation within the Solutions and Sales organizations.

Necessary Skills:

  • Solid leadership of high-performing professional teams in the software industry
  • Proven record of executive presentation skills
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge, interest or background in the nonprofit industry
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems in varied political environments
  • Proven time management & prioritization skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Ability to travel domestically (up to 50%)

Desired Skills:

  • Prior Solutions Engineering leadership experience
  • Prior direct experience in the Nonprofit industry
  • Experience working with Salesforce Products in a technical capacity

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $217,280 to $290,710.For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
