Spectrum Reach is seeking a dynamic Sales Support Specialist to support our News division. Can be based in our offices in New York City, Charlotte, Cleveland, and Dallas.

JOB SUMMARY
As an Execution Specialist for Spectrum News, you'll assist the VP, Directors, and Sales Managers by providing operational support for the sale and execution of Spectrum News revenue. The Execution Specialist plays a key role in helping drive Spectrum News revenue effectively, alongside the teams who are selling the network, by facilitating requests and communication between teams and the network. This role will partner with Account Executives, Sales Ops & Strategy teams, and other cross-functional departments as part of a high-performance culture working towards common business goals. They play an integral role in maximizing multiscreen solutions, which has a direct impact on our ability to deliver and exceed clients' marketing and advertising expectations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates Spectrum News sponsorship baseline sales materials and SCX templates
  • Creates sponsorship one-sheets for open integrated sponsorships and HPO offerings
  • Manages Approval of Salesforce sponsorship submissions, including checking orders within Pilot to ensure order accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales Ops & Strategy regarding sponsorship placements and corrections.
  • Maintains and administers Salesforce sponsorship site including (but not limited to) updating sponsorship offerings for current markets and expansion markets
  • Provides sponsorship expiration reporting to Spectrum News Sales managers
  • Works with Spectrum News Network on tracking, creation and execution of integrated elements
  • Assist in rollout and training of news processes, workflows, and products to Sales Ops teams
  • Attends quarterly Spectrum News Network sponsorship review call
  • Creates Spectrum News Network marketing and CNN barter orders

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of cable television, digital products, and advanced advertising products is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, advertising, or marketing professionals is helpful but not required. Previous experience in an Ad Agency, Media, and/or Ad Sales team is highly preferred.
  • Ability to back-up work and have good logic to creating schedules

Education
Associate's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Media experience is a plus.
