Role Overview:

Could you be our next New Business Specialist? Globe Life is looking for a New Business Specialist to join the team!

This role is responsible for supporting the New Business department by managing the intake and processing of insurance applications received through mail, fax, email, and FTP. Key responsibilities include sorting and coding incoming applications, verifying required documentation, scanning and keying application data, and maintaining accurate reports. The position also involves reviewing pending items, resolving application exceptions, and handling underwriting correspondence to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow from receipt to processing.

This is an on-site position located in McKinney, Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • Receive, sort, and process incoming applications from multiple channels (mail, fax, SFTP, and email), ensuring all required forms are complete and accurate.
  • Enter, track, and deliver applications using internal systems including the application tracking system and Captiva.
  • Scan, index, and key applications and supporting documents with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor pending reports and update notes to ensure timely follow-through.
  • Log and sort checks and cash received alongside applications, maintaining proper records.
  • Review, sort, and distribute incoming faxes and mail delivered to New Business.
  • Assemble, print, and mail policy documents and correspondence to clients and agents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of similar administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience in insurance or office administration is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • The following courses should be completed: LOMA 281, Business Email Etiquette.
