Support the Operations team by updating client account documentation, processing regulations, and maintaining detailed records. Provide timely responses to client inquiries.
Seaport Global Holdings LLC seeks an entry level New Accounts Associate to support our Operations team. The individual will work out of our midtown Manhattan office with the opportunity to work remotely. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team’s middle office and regulation functions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities, and impeccable attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Identify clients that need to have their account documentation updated.
- Coordinate with existing clients, who by regulation, have to have their account information updated.
- Process documentation in accordance with industry rules and regulations, including the US Patriot Act, Anti Money Laundering and ‘Know Your Client’
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness and maintain detailed records of all client requests
- Provide complete and thorough responses to account opening questions and concerns of new clients in a timely fashion
- Correspond with clients, sale representatives and customer service representatives in a courteous and professional manner
- Keep a database of accounts that need to be updated as well as accounts that are currently being updated.
- Follow internal policy and procedures when dealing with any account-related suspicious activity
Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to interface with institutional clients
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of onboarding documentation for the financial industry
- Adept in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented, meticulous and organized
- Strong research and reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
