About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson's Networks Domain Product Sales Support team, supporting Ericsson Customer Units across Market Area North America. The team works as sales engineers, helping translate customer requirements into compelling cellular and radio access network (RAN) solutions. As an Intern, you will gain experience in technical solution development, customer requirements analysis, RFx and proposal support, and collaboration with sales, engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams. Previous sales engineering experience is not required. We are seeking a motivated student with a technical education, strong analytical ability, and an interest in telecommunications and network solutions.
What you will do:
  • Support the preparation of RFx responses, tenders, presentations, proposals, and customer consultations.
  • Assist with reviewing customer requirements and mapping them to Ericsson cellular and RAN products and solutions.
  • Research cellular technologies, network architectures, industry standards, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Help prepare technical content, solution descriptions, diagrams, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Support the development of bills of materials, solution configurations, network design inputs, and other proposal information.
  • Collaborate with sales, Customer Solution Responsible teams, product management, engineering, and other Ericsson stakeholders.
  • Participate in discussions related to network capabilities, coverage, capacity, performance, key performance indicators, and solution requirements.
  • Help organize and analyze technical and commercial information used to develop customer solutions and business cases.
  • Support customer trials, demonstrations, solution readiness activities, and market introductions as assigned.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to build an understanding of customer needs and Ericsson's sales and solution-development processes.
  • Document findings, action items, assumptions, and technical decisions clearly and accurately.
  • Develop knowledge of Ericsson's cellular and RAN portfolio, relevant technologies, and the North American telecommunications market.

The skills you bring:
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, information technology, or a related field.
  • Interest in cellular communications, wireless networks, RAN, telecommunications, or related technologies.
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand technical information and communicate it clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiousity about AI, open to using or familiar with AI-assisted tools or workflows, and eager to deepen your skills in an AI-augmented environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments.
  • Professional curiosity and a willingness to ask questions and seek clarification.
  • Must have at least a 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • Actively enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
