Be part of the connection:
You develop microservices, applications, end-user interfaces, service templates and resource adapters. You support multiple network enhancements simultaneously interacting with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
How you can make a difference:
  • Promote quality assurance through the testing of new services and resource adapters for functionality using our testing framework and adding new test cases to the test suite.
  • Develop microservices, APIs and service templates to define the services we provide.
  • Code resource adapters that act as firmware drivers to the network devices.
  • Review the code to the GIT source control repositories to ensure quality products.
  • Deploy code to our development, quality assurance, staging and production servers using our continuous integration and deployment pipeline platform.
  • Contribute to project development through a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.

What you bring to Spectrum Business
Required qualifications:
  • Experience: Four years of software development and network engineering experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills: Knowledge of IP and TDM based network and architectures; Familiar with routing protocols, network topologies, MEF, technical specifications and command line interface; Advanced development skills in Python, JavaScript, Git Source Control, CI/CD SQL, web services and Docker; Experience with Agile framework.
  • Skills: Analytical, organizational, forecasting, issue resolution and English communication skills.
  • Abilities: Ability to analyze information and develop and present data-driven reports.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Two years of scaled Agile framework experience.
  • Cisco, Juniper, MEF or other industry-specific certifications.
  • Experience in network service orchestration.
