The Opportunity:
- We are hiring a National Sales Strategist to partner with senior sales leaders and help drive growth across our In‑Store Point‑of‑Sale and hospitality and travel advertising networks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning data, audience insights, and media measurement into clear, persuasive sales narratives.
- You will be a go‑to resource for creating proposals, developing media strategies, and equipping the sales team with tools that position our networks as the best‑in‑class choice for brands and agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic, audience‑driven media plans for NRS POS and Hospitality & Travel campaigns
- Write clear, compelling proposals tailored to client objectives and vertical priorities
- Incorporate media measurement principles (reach, frequency, impressions, sales impact) into sales materials for client presentations
- Create visually consistent, client‑ready decks using cloud‑based presentation software
- Maintain accurate account, contact, and opportunity data in the CRM to support sales workflows
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and insights teams to package inventory and messaging for target categories
- Assist with post‑buy recaps and optimization recommendations based on provided campaign data
Who We're Looking For:
- A strategic thinker with a strong grasp of digital and place‑based media fundamentals, especially in retail and hospitality environments.
- You understand how to support sellers by transforming data and research into persuasive, actionable materials that win business.
- Comfortable working across multiple categories and tailoring strategies for diverse advertiser needs, from CPG and retail to tourism, entertainment, finance, and travel services.
You’re Comfortable Speaking About (or Eager to Learn):
- The value of contextually relevant, high‑frequency advertising environments
- Core media metrics and how they connect to client KPIs
- The needs of both brand‑side marketers and agency buyers
- The role of first‑party data and audience insights in campaign planning
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years in sales strategy, media planning, or sales enablement (digital or retail media preferred)
- Familiarity with media measurement principles and the ability to present results clearly
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Experience with cloud‑based presentation tools such as Beautiful.ai and Google Slides
- CRM experience in maintaining accurate sales information to support workflows
- Strong writing, presentation, and storytelling abilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment\
