Job Description
Reporting to VP of Sales, we’re looking for a result-driven National Sales Manager to lead Canada sales team by developing strategic sales plans, managing the regional team, and building strong client relationship to achieve sales targets and market expansion. Also, will be responsible for developing the team, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, providing forecast and analyzing data.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales volume and revenue growth through active territory planning and execution.
- Identify new business opportunities with current and new customers to increase sales.
- Develop and implement a national sales and distribution strategy.
- Recruit, train, and manage Sales Representatives across all country.
- Monitor and improve sales team performance, ensuring KPIs and targets are met.
- Achieve objectives through effective planning, customer development, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, projecting future performance and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate new leads and provide accurate sales forecasts to support production and product planning.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Work with product and engineering teams to make sure customer needs are met.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and commercial standards.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and customer sites. .
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Other Engineering or relevant field.
- 7 to 10 years of sales experience, ideally in motor or related industries, you have a proven track record of team leadership of at least 5 years.
- Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to travel extensively within North American Region.
- A strong understanding of the market and industry trends.
- Bilingual( French and English) is preffered.
