About the Role

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer to execute the visual and experiential quality of custom training courses for our Fortune 500 clients. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director to translate creative visions into reality, craft high-fidelity storyboards, and partner with instructional designers and developers to ensure learning experiences are not only effective, but genuinely engaging and beautifully executed.

This is a hands-on production role with a strong collaborative element: part visual storyteller, part interactive UX/UI designer, and part production pipeline manager. You'll also work directly with clients and stakeholders, presenting creative concepts, gathering feedback, and confidently communicating design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Typical Project FlowStoryboard

Partner with the Creative Director and Instructional Designers to translate scripted outlines into comprehensive interactive storyboards using Figma.

Creation

Design and build high-quality visual, audio, video, and animation assets using the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Handoff

Package, clean, and finalize creative assets for seamless integration by Storyline developers and production staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align: Collaborate with the Creative Director to translate complex corporate messaging into compelling, brand-compliant visual strategies.

  • Refine: Wireframe and build intuitive user journeys, interactive prototypes, and custom digital interfaces.

  • Design: Design, animate, and produce premium digital media, including high-end videos, custom motion graphics, and responsive web assets.

  • Manage: Oversee the asset handoff process by preparing clean design files and clear implementation guidelines for production staff and developers.

  • Present: Communicate creative concepts, gather feedback, and confidently articulate design decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven design experience translating complex content into engaging visual and interactive experiences.

  • Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise in visual design, illustration, motion graphics, and/or interactive media, with a strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, motion design, and UI/UX fundamentals. eLearning experience is preferred but not required.

  • Tools: Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.

  • Fundamentals: Deep understanding of user-centered design, visual hierarchy, typography, data visualization, and accessibility (WCAG).

  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with instructional designers, developers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present, explain, and defend creative decisions to clients and stakeholders.

Desirable Pluses (Nice to Have)
  • Interactive Web Development: Foundational front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) to build custom web objects and template overrides. Experience with rapid authoring tools such as HYPE is a plus.

  • Instructional Media & EdTech: Experience collaborating with instructional designers, creating assets for Articulate Storyline, or working within digital learning environments.
