Mount Auburn Capital Group (MAGC) is the investment team entrusted to oversee the endowment of Harvard Student Agencies (HSA). As the largest student-organization endowment fund on Harvard’s campus by assets under management, our team deploys significant capital across diverse asset classes. Our members gain hands-on investment experience through capital allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management. If you are ready to manage a fund and gain institutional investment experience, this is your opportunity.

Application Details

Timeframe: Applications due Sunday, February 22nd at 11:59PM.

Eligibility: This application is open to currently enrolled Harvard undergraduates in their first, second, or third year.

Experience: No prior investment experience is required for consideration.

Application and Interview Process

Written Application

The first step to applying for a position on the Mount Auburn Capital Group investment team is a short written application. This portion gives our team an opportunity to learn more about your interest in fund management, investing, and operating an institutional portfolio. Prior investment experience or financial background may be helpful, but is not required.

Investment Team Interviews

If passed onto the next round, candidates will interview with members of the Mount Auburn Capital Group Leadership team. These interviews will be a blend of technical and behavioral questions, covering investment ideas, managing real capital, and how you think. Depending on role and team needs, you may interview multiple times during this stage.
