Gupta Media was founded 20 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our client's business. Our early work was focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events (Boston Calling, among others) and recorded music (Sony Music, Universal Music & Disney are all clients). We have dramatically grown our work with big brands (Amazon, Fender) and sports brands (LA Galaxy, Washington Commanders). We have a global client base with a growing local roster across B2B and B2C brands across campaign, content, and branding assignments.

As a Motion Designer within our creative studio team, you’ll work alongside writers and designers to craft bold and compelling stories that strategically drive connection and engagement across performance marketing channels.

Who you are:

  • Your portfolio showcases a strong design aesthetic that strives towards excellence in your craft with an extensive background in crafting campaigns that spans advertising across digital and social channels, video & motion, and OOH. Awarded work is a plus!
  • You have a related 4-year degree and 2+ years of agency experience;
  • You have strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects; proficiency in a 3D design program (C4D or Blender) is a plus;
  • You are able to carry projects from concept to completion, working collaboratively across teams on ideation, execution, and implementation;
  • You are able to clearly and confidently present work in front of both internal and external audiences, selling them on the idea;
  • You are passionate about what is happening in marketing and advertising.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
