Mobile Software Engineer (React Native)
The Mobile Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work on mobile applications for iOS and Android targeted at medical devices and solutions in related markets. This position requires an individual who enjoys learning new software technologies and working on the cutting edge of product development.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate and work in a fast-paced cross-functional team and environment and with client technical staff.
· Develop software solutions based on detailed requirements and wireframes provided by the UX/UI designer.
· Execute all elements of the software development lifecycle, including requirements specification, design, planning, code, code reviews, and verification.
· Communicate your designs to internal team members and the client and resolve feedback.
· Resolve issues using an issue management system (e.g. Jira, Microsoft DevOps).
· While partnered with an internal Project Manager, plan project tasks and manage resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within expected scope and budget, with a high level of customer satisfaction and attention to quality.
· Execute with minimal guidance and strong initiative in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5-10 years recent experience working as a mobile software engineer in a related field.
· Demonstrated commitment to high quality.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Highly motivated, self-disciplined, independent and results oriented.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline is preferred, or equivalent years of experience
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
· Experience with React Native for iOS and Android.
· Experience with unit testing frameworks.
· Understanding of RESTful APIs.
· Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong familiarity with modern software development tools (Git, JIRA, etc.) and modern SDLC processes.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
· Experience working with Bluetooth.
· Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure).
· Experience with FDA and HIPAA regulations.
· Familiarity with IEC 62034.
