Your impact:
As a Product Designer at Spekit, you won’t just ship beautiful designs—you’ll own problems, drive solutions forward, and influence decisions that shape the core of our product. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to craft experiences that simplify work for thousands of users.
This role is for someone who thrives on clarity, takes full ownership from discovery to delivery, and has the confidence and communication skills to align cross-functional partners. You’ll have the autonomy to lead initiatives, but also the support to grow and stretch your skills.
Reporting to our Manager, Product Design, Lucia Ulc, we’re looking for a designer who can zoom out to see the bigger picture—and zoom in to ensure every interaction is thoughtful, intuitive, and pixel-perfect. Your work will directly raise the bar for design and user experience at Spekit.
At Spekit, you’ll be part of a design-forward company where your voice is heard, your ideas matter, and your work has real impact. You’ll join a supportive, high-performing team that values growth, curiosity, and candor—and believes great design is at the heart of great product!
What you'll get to do every day:
- Drive the end-to-end design process—from discovery and ideation through execution, delivery, and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product strategy and influence decisions across functions.
- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into elegant and effective solutions.
- Initiate and lead user research efforts to uncover insights, validate ideas, and shape product direction.
- Contribute to and evolve our growing design system and design ops practices to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Communicate clearly and proactively—bringing stakeholders along and championing the user at every step.
- Own your work and your outcomes: follow through on commitments, anticipate roadblocks, and drive projects to completion.
- Bring ideas to the table, challenge assumptions, and help raise the standard of design excellence across the team.
What you’ll need to be successful on Day 1:
- 4+ years of experience designing SaaS products (product design, not just marketing or brand work).
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates user-centered design, product thinking, and end-to-end ownership of shipped work.
- Confident facilitation and communication skills—you know how to align stakeholders, drive clarity, and keep momentum going.
- Experience leading or co-owning user research efforts and turning insights into actionable design strategies.
- A bias for action—you’re not afraid to initiate, follow up, and do the work needed to move things forward.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Advanced Figma skills; familiarity with user research tools like UserTesting, Maze, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) standards and an inclusive design mindset
