About the role

Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market – New York

This role owns the full sales cycle for a defined Mid-Market territory in the US — net-new acquisition, land-and-expand motions, and complex multi-stakeholder deals that require real credibility across Finance, IT, Operations and the C-suite. Mews is gaining ground in a hospitality technology market that's still replacing legacy infrastructure, and the US Mid-Market segment is where the next meaningful growth chapter gets written.

You'll generate your own pipeline — roughly 70% outbound — manage eight to ten in-flight opportunities at any point, and close two to four deals a month. Average contract values sit between 5K and 10K+ MRR, with a sales cycle of around six months. That means your work requires both sprint-level execution and the patience to shepherd complex deals over time.

The opportunity sits at the intersection of genuine market need and a product that can credibly displace the systems hotels have lived with for decades. You'll work with a team that takes forecasting seriously, runs real deal reviews, and expects the same discipline from every member.

What you would do

  • Own a defined territory of hotel groups across the US Mid-Market (3–25 properties) and run account-based outbound plays to generate net-new pipeline
  • Manage 8–10 progressed opportunities at any time, maintaining 70%+ outbound-sourced pipeline and forecast accuracy across a roughly six-month sales cycle
  • Run multi-threaded pursuits that align GMs, IT, Finance, Operations and C-suite stakeholders on the Mews value case
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify expansion triggers and convert pilots into multi-property rollouts
  • Build rigorous forecasts, win/loss reviews, and pipeline health assessments that inform GTM planning
  • Represent Mews at key hospitality industry events to build pipeline and market presence

What you would bring

  • A track record of closing multiple 5K+ MRR contracts per quarter in a scale-up SaaS environment, with a consistently strong win rate
  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with direct ownership of net-new business 
  • Experience navigating four to eight stakeholders per deal and closing complex, multi-property contracts
  • Fluency in pipeline metrics — forecasting, conversion funnels, segmentation, and data-informed storytelling
  • A demonstrated ability to build your own pipeline through outbound: designing cadences that create opportunities rather than waiting for inbound volume
  • Deep hospitality SaaS knowledge 
  • Fluent English
  • You already use AI as a real part of your workflow — for pipeline work, account research, or deal preparation — not as a novelty
