Position Summary

As a Strategic Account Advisor, you will focus on delivering superior operational, project management, reporting, metric tracking and solutions to Health plan clients. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in client relationship management, financial oversight, and process improvement, while also contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture. You will accomplish this by:

  • Execution of client strategies that align with both client goals and organizational objectives. 
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring that services meet or exceed client expectations. 
  • Identify opportunities within client accounts to enhance value and grow the relationship. 
  • Manage the financial aspects of client accounts, focusing on maintaining profitability and staying within budgetary constraints. 
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue optimization. 
  • Implement and refine client management workflows to ensure efficient service delivery and responsiveness to client needs. 
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements that align with best practices. 
  • Ensure that all processes are scalable and can adapt to changing client requirements. 
  • Monitor the performance of client accounts, striving to meet or exceed targets and client expectations. 
  • Provide regular feedback to the client management team and support junior team members in achieving their performance goals. 
  • Collaborate with the team to address any performance issues and drive continuous improvement. 

Your success will be driven by exceeding client satisfaction score targets. To be successful in this role you will utilize your strong knowledge of networking within an organization. Your skills managing oversight of processes, proven ability to navigate effectively and hold others accountable to delivering on client commitments as well as managing client expectations or changes to committed deliverables will contribute to your success.

You will operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines so the ability to operate autonomously and make key decisions is imperative. The contributions you will make will position CVS Health as a leader in client satisfaction and service in the PBM marketplace.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience which includes at least 3 years of experience in Healthcare or in an Account Management or Client Services role.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a client facing role within the healthcare industry.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time. Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PBM experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Project planning and life cycle development
  • Ability to proactively identify solutions to enhance client delivery, operational efficiency, and lead implementation of items is preferred
  • Team player and leadership skills across departments with experience in leading technical and nontechnical projects
  • Strong organizational, time management, reporting, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high demand, little to no guidance on complex issues and accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively to clients, C-Suite Executives and Senior Leadership

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
