Implement, configure, and maintain MES applications; integrate MES with ERP/PLM/SCADA/PLC/historians; troubleshoot and support manufacturing systems; drive process digitalization and automation; execute validation and compliance testing; support MES projects, UAT, training, and develop dashboards/KPIs for production performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesMES Development & Support
- Configure, develop, and maintain MES applications and workflows.
- Provide technical support for MES-related issues in manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot system failures, performance issues, and integration problems.
- Manage MES software upgrades, patches, and change requests.
- Integrate MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, historians, and other shop-floor systems.
- Develop interfaces and data exchange mechanisms between systems.
- Ensure real-time production data acquisition and reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for digitalization and automation.
- Improve production efficiency, cycle time, quality, and traceability through MES enhancements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Smart Factory initiatives.
- Create and execute MES testing, validation, and qualification protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user manuals.
- Participate in MES implementation and deployment projects.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, automation, and IT teams.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and training activities.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and manufacturing reports.
- Analyze production data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support OEE, downtime, quality, and productivity monitoring.
