We are seeking a highly organized and analytically curious Merchandising Assistant to join our Merchandising team. This role will support the Senior Manager and broader Merchandising team across Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories, contributing to the planning, execution, and ongoing management of product assortments. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in product and data, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support weekly and ad hoc reporting by compiling sales, inventory, and product performance data. Assist in summarizing insights that help guide merchandising decisions.
- Prepare, update, and maintain decks, trackers, and shared files used for cross-functional meetings, go-to-market milestones, and historical records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate and track product samples across categories, ensuring they are properly organized, displayed, and ready for reviews and key meetings.
- Support tracking market trends by leveraging retail intelligence platforms and conducting competitive shopping online and in-store. Create regular recaps summarizing key learnings and opportunities to inform product offerings and assortment strategies.
- Assist with tracking deadlines, GTM stage gates, and deliverables across merchandising initiatives, supporting follow-through and alignment with Product Development, Design, Planning, Marketing, and Operations teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion, Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in merchandising, analytics, retail planning, or a related field.
- Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with comfort working in spreadsheets, formulas, and presentations.
- Strong interest in product and data, with curiosity about consumer shopping behavior and business performance.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solutions-driven attitude.
