Job Description
Mandatory Skills:
1. Mendix Application Development & Custom Extensions: Expert-level mastery of Mendix Studio Pro including Rapid Development, complex Microflow/Nanoflow logic and Domain Model optimization.
2. Java Actions: Ability to write custom Java Actions within Mendix to handle specialized Avaya SDK requirements or protocols that are not supported out-of-the-box.
3. Experience building or customizing Pluggable Widgets using React/JavaScript to create bespoke communication interfaces.
4. Avaya Ecosystem Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with the Avaya products like Aura, CMS, Communication Manager Elite, etc.
5. Advanced experience of VoIP and SIP protocols.
6. Mastery of REST and SOAP APIs specifically for bridging Web Services with legacy telephony hardware. 7. Experience deploying Mendix on AWS or Azure

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly specialized Mendix Avaya Engineer to lead the convergence of rapid application development and enterprise-grade communication infrastructure. This is a mission-critical "hybrid" role where you will bridge the gap between low-code agility and the robust requirements of real-time telephony.
You will be responsible for building high-performance, user-centric applications on the Mendix platform that communicate directly with Avaya Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center (CC) ecosystems. Your work will empower agents and stakeholders with custom dashboards, automated workflows, and seamless omnichannel experiences.
