The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
In this position, you will lead the strategy, planning and execution of
internal events that enhance training and development, employee engagement, and cultural alignment across the Americas MedSurg Division. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and experienced event leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that foster execution of our organizational goals.
As a MedSurg Americas Meetings & Events Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Event strategy and execution: Lead the planning and virtual / on-site execution of internal events that align with Solventum’s business goals and commercial transformation ranging from National Sales Meetings and Plan of Action Meetings to New Hire Training and various Sales & Marketing trainings as well as corporate level events hosted at Solventum sites in San Antonio, TX or Eagan, MN.
- Executive partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to Americas MedSurg Senior
Leaders, translating business priorities into compelling event experiences that drive clarity, connection and inspiration.
- End-to-end event management: Oversee all aspects of event planning and
execution, including budget management, agenda development, speaker coordination,
pre-planning/on-site logistics, production and post-event reconciliation.
- External agency management: Oversee relationships with external event partners
and vendors, including creative agencies, production teams and logistics providers-
ensuring alignment with Solventum's brand, culture, and strategic priorities while delivering high-quality, cost-effective event experiences.
- Process Implementation: Establish a standardized, scalable and compliant
process for planning, executing, and reporting meetings & events across the Commercial Organization ensuring alignment with business goals, Health Care Compliance, and
operational efficiencies.
- Measurement and continuous improvement: Define successful metrics and apply feedback and data-driven insights to continuously improve event effectiveness and employee experience.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with key business partners and
other internal stakeholders to ensure events are financially allocated correctly, integrated,
inclusive and impactful.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of demonstrably progressive experience in Corporate Events in a complex, matrixed, global environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of demonstrably progressive experience in Corporate Events in a complex, matrixed, global environment
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Strong experience in Project Management skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Events Planning experience in Healthcare Industry
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop, interpret and communicate financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Degree in communications, marketing, hospitality or related field.
- Experience advising senior executives and managing high-visibility internal event.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with excellence and
attention to detail - Strong collaboration skills and experience working across global, cross-functional
teams - Exceptional storytelling, content development and experience design capabilities
- Familiarity with modern event technologies, platforms and measurement tools such
as Cvent, MS 365 Suite, Workday, Concur - Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, ambiguity and change

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
