Job Description

WHAT DOES A MEDIA PLANNER DO?

The Media Planner will assist in the development, evaluation, and management of digital and non-digital media plans for pharmaceutical clients to meet their requirements, budgets, and objectives. He or she will develop and manage the RFP process and assist in the evaluation of proposals. This person will maintain a responsive working relationship with external media vendors and internal agency teams with some exposure to client presentations. The Media Planner maintains rapport with media publishers through daily interaction and works closely with the account, project management, media subject-matter-expert and analytics teams to ensure flawless execution of media schedules. The Media Planner must stay abreast of new and emerging technologies and execution opportunities by providing agency POVs on new opportunities as they relate to client objectives on an ongoing basis. He or she will manage the campaign creation, insertion orders, system updates and launch, as well as budgets and invoice process. The Media Planner will also analyze campaign performance and assist in regular pacing, as well as assist with regular campaign reporting.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, media studies, communications or equivalent education plus professional experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in media planning and buying
  • Online media background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with media tools such as Prisma, DCM, and/or DoubleVerify strongly preferred
  • Experience with syndicated research tools (e.g., Kantar, MRI) and competitive tracking tools is a plus
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong presentation and cross-functional communication skills
  • Able to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,000.00 to $70,000.00 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
