About the role

We are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Crew Member  to our growing Mechanical Maintenance Department. As part of the Mechanical Maintenance Department, you will report to our Pump and Evap Assistant Supervisor and be responsible for operating carious types of pumps, conducting routine maintenance and inspections, troubleshooting and repairing pump-related issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This is a fully on-site position supports our operations at our Corsicana, TX facility. 


What you'll be doing

  • Operate and maintain various types of pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, and positive displacement pumps.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks such as lubrication, inspection, and replacement of worn components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot pump system issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Monitor and adjust pump operations to meet quality standards and performance requirements.
  • Conduct maintenance on related systems, including tanks, heat exchangers, and freeze protection protocols.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations involving pump systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of operations, maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members, apply strong problem-solving skills, and engage in continuous learning to improve pump operations and maintenance capabilities.


What you'll have

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational challenges in pump and evaporation systems using sound critical thinking
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across data center, miner maintenance, electrical, facilities, construction, and other stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cooperatively in team-based environments
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and reliable team player with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated interest or experience in pump and evaporation systems
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of fluid and thermal dynamics simulation in pump and evaporation systems
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations while maintaining a commitment to quality control and operational standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in pump operations preferred


Physical requirements and work environment

  • Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (75 Pounds)
  • Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
  • Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

  • PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
  • Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
  • Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
