Manage engineering projects including technical reviews, design solutions, inspections, and compliance with industry standards while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Role summary:
- Regional and factories project management covering vendors technical review, solutions design, fabrications monitoring, machinery maintenance, FAT, installation, testing, commissioning, SAT, upgrading activities, trouble shooting
- Project costing, time plan, contingency management
- Improve process and SHE control efficiency and reliability
- Perform engineering calculations to support factory design decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:
- Responsible to strategize and provide guidance on the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Technical and operational evaluations, identify gaps and provide sound solutions
- To ensure Preventive and Corrective maintenance in accordance with plans and schedules.
- Monitoring / tracking with prompt corrective actions
- Time plan with integrated risk management
- Conduct research, evaluate materials, and analyze manufacturing processes to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
- Leading / supporting as key players in projects and factory upgrading management. Budgeting, technical specifications, briefing, negotiation panel and costing management
- Collaborate with cross-functional working teams, including electrical engineers, project and production teams, to ensure seamless project executions.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation and presentations to provide proactive and constructive communications on findings and project status to stakeholders.
- Compliance to group SHE, MMR and FLPM
- Quality projects documentations; Operations / MAI manual, training and trouble shooting
- Periodic reports and information management
- Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes
- Any other jobs as assigned by superior

- Working with international, regional, home base and external stakeholders
- Working as project team leader / member on assign projects
- Cross cultural, cross functional and willing to travel for overseas assignment
Skills & Experience - Desirable
- 5 years and above in relevant disciplines and preferably in manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Strong engineering projects, utilities, maintenance knowledge
- Creative and innovative in solutions
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Confidence communication and interpersonal skills
- Good in written and verbal English
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, material science and manufacturing processes.
