About Topline Pro

We’re building an AI-native platform for local business owners to unleash their ambition. We give service pros (e.g., roofers, landscapers, painters, cleaners) a growth engine that works alongside them to get sh*t done. Up and running within minutes, our AI helps pros get work, win work, do work and get paid...repeatedly.

Topline Pro is co-founded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (COO) with an excellent team of 100+ rockstars with plans to expand more in 2026. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of the 2023 and 2024 top 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs.

We're YC-backed and well funded with several years of runway, and we’ve experienced rapid growth in the past year. We're in a phenomenal position to scale—with the financial foundation, product-market fit, and momentum to go big. You’ll be joining at an inflection point—where the groundwork is laid and the path to massive impact is clear.

We’re searching for an ambitious MBA Product Intern to join the tech team in our Boston or New York office to work on a core, agentic product. This is your chance to get experience in a company that’s not only growing fast, but reshaping an entire industry.

We believe “great candidates” do not come about through simply a checkmark next to past experiences. We believe in hiring people not just skills. Even if you do not check every box but find excitement at the prospect of working with us in this capacity, please apply.

⚡ What you'll do

In this role, you will:

  • Work with our product team on a specific, summer-long project to build high-impact features that our users love

  • Discover, plan, and develop both the near term roadmap and long term vision for this new problem space and feature

  • Successfully ship the first version of this new solution and drive adoption in collaboration with colleagues in sales, marketing, and customer success

  • Get to understand our customers through continuous user research and collaboration across the business

  • Effectively communicate and document progress + learnings across the organization prior to the end of your internship

🎯 What we’re looking for

  • Experience: Currently pursuing your MBA with 2 - 5 years of work experience. 1 - 2 years of user-facing experience for a technology product is preferred (in roles like product, design, research, customer success, sales).

  • User-centric: Passionate about creating great user experiences and products our customers love

  • Ambitious: Desire to invent new features that change the game for our customers and deliver incredible business impact

  • Data-driven: Dedicated to tracking and measuring performance, using analytics to uncover deep insights, and deploying hypothesis-driven experiments when applicable

  • Resourceful: Willing to get scrappy to validate concepts and deliver results in an early stage environment

  • Clear communicator: Ability to articulate priorities and keep alignment across the organization amidst a hypergrowth environment

🤗 How You Work — Living Our Core Values

At Topline Pro, we’re not just hiring for skills. We’re hiring people who embody our core values in how they work, collaborate, and build. Here’s what that looks like in this role:

No Bullsh*t: You value clarity, directness, and real impact. You speak plainly, cut through complexity, and focus on what matters. You don’t posture; you solve. Your work and communication are honest, transparent, and rooted in what’s best for the team and our customers.

Think Big, Learn Fast: You’re energized by ambitious goals and unafraid to tackle messy, ambiguous problems. You take an iterative approach by testing, learning, and improving quickly. You value momentum over perfection and believe that learning happens fastest through building and doing.

One Team, One Dream: You win by working together. You collaborate with empathy, celebrate shared wins, and show up for your teammates, especially when things get hard. You believe trust, respect, and shared ownership are the foundation of great teams.

Empower Every Voice: You seek input from others and value different perspectives, especially when building systems that serve multiple teams. You communicate clearly, listen actively, and make it easy for others to contribute. You care about outcomes that serve everyone, not just your lane.

Be an Owner: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. You act in the company’s best interest by driving meaningful results, moving with urgency, and treating every dollar and decision like it’s your own. You don’t wait for permission; you see problems and take action.

BOOM!: You take pride in doing great work and lift others up when they do the same. You believe celebration fuels momentum. Whether it’s a major launch or a quiet win, you’re someone who recognizes and amplifies great work across the team.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
