POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE:• Knowledge of production scheduling and CMS• Knowledge of MRP and Operations/Inventory Management practices• Must possess knowledge and proven skills in one of the following: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen; Project management and prioritizing.• Must have a thorough knowledge of general office procedures including PC and LAN computer use. Must be proficient in relevant computer software and program use.
EDUCATION: • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field e.g., Materials and/or Logistics Management and/or equivalent work-related experience
WORK EXPERIENCE:• Skill gained by experience: minimum 5 years material control/logistics experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.• Minimum 10 years in a leadership role.
