Title: Marketplace Account Manager - S3

Location: Remote USA

Reports To: Marketplace VP

The Role: 

We’re seeking a proactive, client-focused Marketplace Account Manager to lead dealer success on the JD Power Darwin Marketplace. In this hybrid role, you will engage dealerships directly—on-site, virtually, and in-office—to ensure platform adoption, drive inventory activity, and support overall marketplace engagement.


The Impact You Will Have in This Role:

Your efforts will directly contribute to dealership retention, transaction volume growth, and optimization of the JD Power Darwin Marketplace . You will play a key role in educating clients, resolving roadblocks, and improving the customer experience, ensuring dealers maximize value from their marketplace presence.

 What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Drive participation and inventory engagement from assigned dealer accounts
  • Conduct onboarding and training sessions to support platform usage
  • Educate dealers on inventory listing, merchandising, and bidding tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealership personnel and decision-makers
  • Monitor dealer activity and recommend improvements or actions
  • Promote new features and capabilities to increase adoption
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support issue resolution and process improvement
  • Report on dealer engagement metrics and highlight growth opportunities

Qualifications of this Role:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in automotive sales, dealer relations, or digital marketplaces
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging both in-person and virtually
  • Experience with dealership software platforms and digital retailing tools
  • Self-sufficient and organized, with a proactive approach to customer management
  • Ability to interpret activity data and provide actionable recommendations
