The world loves Postgres. If you work with developers or data scientists or anyone wrangling data, you’ll probably see a sticker with the tusks and trunk of the Postgres elephant on the lid of a nearby laptop. EDB has a lot to do with that.

EDB’s Web Marketing Manager will create compelling, effective, and innovative digital experiences that result in the growth of the business. Reporting to the Senior Director, Website Strategy and Operations will lead large initiatives such as language sites, ecommerce and integration/consolidation of sites. They will partner with marketing, brand, content, web operations, dev ops, legal, and design teams to lead work streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates cohesive web experiences across multiple domains through user research, segmentation, competitive assessments and alignment with business priorities
  • Directs the design and content team in creating the optimal user experience through compelling user journey, design and content plans
  • Creates local language site requirements, identifies tools and sets processes to manage sites effectively
  • Manages website personalization and SEO plans that are tailored to specific audiences
  • Creates requirements for site enhancements to improve the user experience and ensures final output meets requirements
  • Measures and communicates success through data-driven metrics

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing with an understanding of web content, standards, and optimization for B2B SaaS
  • Experience leading and project managing complex site migration projects
  • Experience creating process flows and wireframes
  • Experience identifying target audiences and building website experiences that inform and motivate users to encourage them to move through the funnel
  • Experience optimizing and testing websites, landing pages, and the user funnel with expertise in conversion rate optimization using heat map, click data, analytics
  • Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, heat map tools similar to Hotjar, user funnel data reading and interpreting
  • Working knowledge of front-end and back-end web development (preferably Drupal)  and the design limitations and capabilities
