Role Overview

 

The Social Media Marketing Manager role will be responsible for leading key social marketing initiatives from strategy through execution. You will utilize your knowledge and understanding of social media to build a presence from the ground up, and build a positive community engagement through various social media channels. You will deliver best-in-class content to our audiences and ensure social KPIs are met alongside business objectives.

 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial marketer who likes to roll up your sleeves and get things done. You understand the importance of measuring outcomes and ROI but you lead with your creative side. You should be fully immersed in social media trends and platforms and understand both what drives consumer engagement and platform algorithms. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal and external teams, and driving programs that reach millions of users, as well as an aptitude for strong copy-writing. A mind for innovation, putting the customer first, and learning through testing is also highly valued.

What is the Job like?

  • Drive the vision, strategy and copy across our social channels such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn from concept to post-implementation analysis
  • Find new and exciting ways to engage both prospective and current customers via social media channel to drive awareness, conversion and lead capture
  • Work cross-functionally with acquisition and CRM teams to grow new customer base and to increase monetization among existing Flock users through social ads
  • Develop and implement content and curation plans by collaborating with other GTM teams (growth, ops and content)
  • Create compelling social media content calendars to ensure consistent and relevant presence
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and tone of voice across all social media channels
  • Serve as the social platform subject matter expert - understanding trends and working with the team to implement findings into strategies quickly and efficiently
  • Analyze and report social media channel performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive learnings

Who can apply for this role?

  • 3+ years of experience in direct working experience developing content and managing social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging social media management and analytics tools
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills for building content in the social media space
  • An agile, flexible individual with a “can-do,” problem-solving approach to managing ambiguity
  • A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory and learning new concepts
  • Should have a disdain for the status quo; able to think and act outside the confines of the job description, desire to contribute value in other areas of growth
